明治のはじめ琵琶湖疏水から引いてきた水を利用して作ったものです。
予約なしに見学することは出来ません。
毎週金曜日のみです。先ずは、関西電力蹴上発電所に電話を入れ、OKが取れればネットにある指定の申込書に書き込み送信します。
無料で見学させて頂き、貴重な発電の様子を見学することが出来ます(プロのガイドさんではないので、わかりにくいところもありました)
レンガ作りの建物や水力発電が行われるまでの厳しかった工程等を知ることが出来ます。
It is the first hydroelectric power plant in Japan to sell electricity.
It was made using water drawn from Lake Biwa Canal at the beginning of the Meiji era.
It is not possible to tour without a reservation.
Only every Friday. First of all, make a phone call to the Kansai Electric Power Keage Power Station, and if it is OK, fill out and send the designated application form on the net.
You can observe the precious power generation for free (because I am not a professional guide, there were some things that were difficult to understand).
You can learn about brick buildings and the rigorous process leading up to hydroelectric power generation.
