庭園もあり、雰囲気が最高でした。また、京都に行った際には利用したいです。

南禅寺へ賑わう参道から、脇道にほんの少し入っただけで静かになった一角に「食」と「とき」が愉しめる『菊水』がある。のれんのかかる門をくぐって玄関を入ると、宜本伸之氏の『鯉・想念は光の速度を超える』と題したステンレス素材のアートの出迎えがあり、お店の人に席へと導かれた。着席のあと、スープから始まり、頃合いを見計らって運ばれてくる前菜やメインをいただきながら、七代目小川治兵衛氏の庭を拝見するのは、とても豊かな時間だった。

コロナ対策も徹底されており、また行きたいと思いました！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 前回は宿泊で、今回はディナーで利用させていただきました。前回フレンチでディナーの雰囲気を充分楽しまさせていただいたので、今回もと期待して参りましたが残念でした。ホールサービスがスマートさに欠け、近くのテーブルの方とのお喋りが幾度となく続きました。静かな雰囲気の中で食事を楽しみたかったです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ アフタヌーンティーで利用しました。全てのお席がお庭向きになっており、素敵な日本庭園を見ながらくつろぎのひと時を過ごすことができます。
紅茶はカップで提供されるので、色々な茶葉を試せるのが嬉しいポイントでした。アフタヌーンティーのお食事も、和と洋が融合していてとても美味しかったです。スイーツは、ケーキは少し普通でしたがお茶菓子が美味しかったです。
I used it for afternoon tea. All the seats are facing the garden, so you can spend a relaxing time while looking at the wonderful Japanese garden.
Tea is served in cups, so it was a nice point to be able to try various tea leaves. The afternoon tea meal was also very delicious as it was a fusion of Japanese and Western styles. As for the sweets, the cake was a little normal, but the tea confectionery was delicious.
