★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had tofu tsuki course which includes sashimi. We were sitting in a tatami room. Really nice garden to look at while eating and can walk around the garden after eating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the tofu bowl, which was a rice set with side dishes, some of which included different takes on tofu. Delicious and satisfying meal. Restaurant offers 5 sets with an a la carte menu too. There is a separate seating area on the other side of the garden for kaiseki.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, if you are not vegetarian, or natural taste lover (means not much flavour) you can skip this place. I have been food hunting where ever I travel, this might be the most unreasonable pricing for the food that I get.
Tofu taste good but not amazingly different with those that I tried at other places. Can be my top 3 over rated restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tofu restaurant next to a historical ( 1603-1868 ) medical school and close to Nanzenji temple ! The restaurant with excellent service offers meals that you can make your own yuba or tofu ! What a beautiful and interesting experience! The other dishes are very delicious too .

The various types of tofu presented in their unique way surprised me. I normally don’t eat that much tofu however, this is highly recommended!
It also came with some sashimi if you want to enjoy fish.
