★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a very good experience here. The staff are not only friendly but helpful too. If you are not used to sleeping on the floor, make sure you go for the modern rooms with beds. The onsen facilities are amazing with both indoor and outdoor onsen pools. Loved it! Most importantly is its closed to amenities and 7/11 shop which opens 24/7.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conveniently located hotel right by the train station. Fairly standard rooms.
Definitely visit the outdoor onsen, which is super beautiful especially if it's snowing outside. Unbelievably beautiful experience. They also serve warm amasake in the afternoon in the lobby so make sure to get a cup or two.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are very helpful and friendly. I love having the chance to eat variety of Japanese breakfast food which is not common at restaurant. The location of the hotel is quite nice. We always had transport willingly available to us from the resort. Prices for weekday stay was very very affordable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room: We stayed on 4/F for three days two nights. Please do expect this is a typical Japanese style hotel and their service is really good. I think they at least tidy up the room in the morning and open the blanket at night before you’re back to your room.
Restaurant: Breakfast and dinner both have a variety of selection. If you plan to have dinner buffet, please expect their last order around 21:00. Sushi and the ice cream are their best.
We drove to this hotel and there is a JR station nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The reviews don't lie. The service at this hotel is impeccable and the room was beautiful. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night but our experience was so perfect that we considered canceling our first night at our next destination just so we could spend another night in this hotel. The breakfast was well worth the extra money and the baths were also very nice. We hope to return to Yuzawa someday and will definitely stay here if we do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very good experience. Pretty good service and hospitality. They also have open roof onsen which adds up to the experience even more. A rental store for ski and snowboarding just outside the hotel. 3-5 mins walk from the railway station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're not sure whether to go left or go right at the station exit to get to the hotel, go right. I took the left path in a snowstorm and almost didn't live to regret it.
The rooms and onsen are excellent. Big for Japan standards. Breakfast has a really wide spread (maybe too wide?) and hence some hits and misses.
One rather big negative is that shuttle buses to the ski resorts aren't that near the hotel. Shuttle buses are also pretty confusing in terms of directions, but it's not the hotel's fault.
