★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We traveled as a family and we booked a suite. We were for the most part happy with our room. Location is very close to all the public transport. In fact the people are very keen to assist in any way possible. Just a great place to stay for the weekend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here in March to do some skiing at Yuzawa Kogen. The food was spectacular, served right to my room with prompt follow up visits to top off my drink and bring additional courses. It is also located very convenient to local ski slopes, shops and pubs.The atmosphere is very personal and homelike (if your home is a traditional Japanese house). I spent time in the onsen, which is public but very clean and well kept.
I have a decent level of Japanese speaking ability that carried me through the process of signing in, ordering food and getting situated. If you don't speak Japanese, I think they will be accomodating, however it may be difficult to get things across without some translation help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 star host. Great Breakfast to begin with, indoor and outdoor onsen, they shift both onsen daily, please book 2 days to enjoy them both. Breakfast change daily. Sweet reception, try to help everything I need.
5mintues away from the Station. Restaurants and 7-11are located between station and the hotel.
Much better then I expected. Just look at my photo. Great place to stay after ski.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was pretty good, staff were helpful despite not being fluent in English. We stayed for one night, the onsen is quiet and clean, really enjoyed it. The breakfast was SO DELICIOUS, please try it! Quite a short walk from the echigo-yuzawa station but it’s an upslope so could be quite tough if you have multiple luggage.
