★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昨秋伺いました。越後湯沢駅の西口真ん前、道路挟んで反対側にむらんごっつぉさんがあります。１１時に着いてしまって、１１：３０の開店を待ち、一番乗りしました。待っている間に4組ほど入り口前で待っていました。人気店なんですね。秋のお勧めセットを注文。鍋はキノコ鍋、薄味でヘルシー感満載の魚沼キュイジーヌ。でもメインは新米魚沼産コシヒカリだわ。お櫃お替りしました。料理はもちろん美味しいのですが、コメどころではない静岡から伺った私には、ご飯の美味しさがとにかく際立っていました。こちらの方は毎日こんなに美味しいご飯を食べていらっしゃるのでしょうか。それは衝撃的でした。お値段は少しお高め。自分には、ご飯と御新香と汁のセットを安く提供していただくだけで満足できました。写真をアップしましたが、あまりのご飯の美味しさにおかずは写メってましたが、ご飯と御櫃を取り忘れてました?
 I visited you last fall. In front of the west exit of Echigo Yuzawa Station, there is Murangozzo on the other side of the road. I arrived at 11 o'clock, waited for the opening of the store at 11:30, and got on the first ride. While I was waiting, I was waiting in front of the entrance for about 4 groups. It's a popular store. I ordered a recommended set for autumn. The hot pot is a mushroom hot pot, and Murangozzo is light and healthy. But the main one is Koshihikari from Novice Uonuma. I have changed the 櫃. The food is delicious, of course, but when I heard from Shizuoka, which is far from rice, the deliciousness of the rice was just outstanding. Is this person eating such delicious rice every day? It was shocking. The price is a little higher. I was satisfied just by offering a set of rice, incense and soup at a low price. I uploaded the photo, but I could see the side dish because of the deliciousness of the rice, but I forgot to take the rice and the bowl ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the lady staff at the coffee shop section was very rude, does not know what service industry standard is all about. we stopped by to have coffee tea and snacks. she was very unhappy serving us, gave us the darkest face she could give. truely sad representation of Japanese hospitality.
the sake gelato dessert was very nice....

I just can't get enough of Muran Gozzo's salmon don. Seared lightly and sprinkled with rock salt on top of local veggies and rice, it's heavenly. Other dishes are also delicately delicious; you can't eat this level of fine cuisine at this price in Tokyo. The dinner prices are upper-scale but lunch prices are affordable, so definitely take advantage of it!
The venue is stylish and cozy, using traditional, wooden furniture and interior.
Note: There is a "Muran Gozzo Cafe" in the station that's a different venue from this main "Muran Gozzo" restaurant. Some of the reviews here seem to be for the Cafe, not the main venue.
