I am not a big coffee drinker and will get the sugar coffees from Starbucks, but if coffee in America tastes like this, I would be much more inclined to drink it! There is a cute but small little bench to rest if you need to!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting coffee shop located in a parking lot just off Nishiki Market. It's more like a takeaway coffee shop or for drinking coffee whilst standing. There was only a bench for seating. Haven't tried the other coffee they offer but the iced latte was excellent and refreshing on a very warm day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small like any other specialty coffee stand. It's nice to get a coffee and sip right outside, staring at the Showa style building across the parking log. Good collection of beans, too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best cappuccino I've ever had. Worth visiting but be warned they only serve 4 drinks - drip coffee, espresso, cappuccino, and an iced latte. Basically no seating but the cups are not to go, so you'll be standing there finishing your drink. If that's a negative for you I'd say the coffee is still worth it.

I love how they don’t have seats for you to stay too long. Simple cozy and the coffee is of course delicious :)
It’s a must visit whilst in Kyoto!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Given a tiny corner behind a parking lot, how much better could you do? Not much. The latte is really a flat white, and it's done well enough to be Melbourne-quality.
You didn't come just for the coffee, though.
The meticulously kept garden and is beautiful; try and find the small, wild strawberry bush. The friendly, stylish baristas can talk you through it (in English if you're lucky that day). Seating is extremely limited, so don't come with the expectation that you can sit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn’t live up to those built up expectations of mine.. cute little coffee stand with not a great variety of options and average taste. You can select with light or dark roast, but result was slightly disappointing… still a good cuppa, but without any significant acidity or any notes at all :/
Very Instagramable spot though - maybe that’s what the fuss is all about?
