About Stars'n Cacio
Andrea is the creative mind behind 'Stars'n Cacio'. He has been a chef since his youth and worked as executive chef in some of the world's best hotels like the Bulgari Hotel in Milan, Italy and Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo. Andrea is obsessed with quality and creating delicious food with only natural ingredients. Apart from running Stars'n Cacio he is a concept creator and F&B consultant to hotels and restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious hummus and pesto pasta with green beans. Lovely atmosphere. Staff members are super kind and bilingual. Fast Wi-fi too. Andrea, the owner, is lovely. He spent time as a chef in Dubai (if my memory is correct), hence the great hummus. Would love to come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I honestly don't get the hype. I was looking forward to eat in this place but they have so many different menus during the day that it's confusing. I think this is just a bar with expensive food (its marked as a restaurant). The owner was a bit rude but the waitress was super friendly.

Lasagna were so good and the atmosphere was so friendly. Terrace was a huge plus to relax and enjoy our lunch.
Also a big cheer to the staffs who are super nice.
I will go back next time I come to Kyoto!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sick food. The pasta in cast irons were delicious, had the cacio n pepe (why would I not) and the pomodoro, we ate falafels, Caesar salad, parmegianno, mortadella, two bottles of wine. Caesar salad was amazing and was a huge portion for two (enough for 4 people I would say), the pasta was cooked to perfection and was authentically Italian. Definitely worth the money and more. The waitress was excellent and bilingual and I would recommend this place to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible chefs, amazing place! I highly recommend for food lovers. The terrace is spacious and surrounded of plants, the best place to have great time with friends with a couple of cocktails! I go there every time I feel homesick from Europe!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We dropped in for lunch, DELICIOUS. Seriously regretting my decision to not make it our choice for dinner. The staff were warm & welcoming, they all spoke fluent English. Menu is QR code. We sat outside on the enclosed patio, they even have it decorated for Christmas. We had just eaten brunch so we didn’t get to order as much food as we would have liked. Caesar Salad is one of the best I’ve had, & I order it everywhere. Bruschetta & cocktails were delicious. Can’t wait for our next visit to Kyoto & trying the other options they have available!
