土鍋でアツアツの状態で配膳されました。
麻婆豆腐は辛くて痺れもあり、好みのお味で美味しかったです。とても寒い日だったので、暖かいお茶がポットで提供されたのも嬉しかったです。
I had Sichuan Mapo Tofu.
It was served hot in a clay pot.
Mapo tofu was spicy and numb, and it tasted good. It was a very cold day, so I was happy that warm tea was served in the pot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 重慶式の麻婆豆腐が大好きで、ふん、四川麻婆豆腐かと注文したらあまりに美味しく驚き、四川の麻婆豆腐の価値観が変わってしまった。口の中が香辛料のパラダイス。しかもバラバラではなくまとまりのあるバランス。とても美味しい麻婆豆腐いただけました。お肉プラスの麻婆豆腐はなかなかボリュームあります。今回はランチで訪問したのですが夜は薬膳鍋を提供しているようです。そちらも楽しみ。
I love Chongqing style mapo tofu, and when I ordered it, I was surprised at how delicious it was, and the value of Sichuan mapo tofu changed. A spice paradise in the mouth. Moreover, it is not disjointed but has a cohesive balance. I had a very delicious mapo tofu. Meat plus mapo tofu is quite voluminous. I visited for lunch this time, but it seems that they serve medicinal hot pot at night. I'm looking forward to that too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very good Chinese restaurant in the heart of Kyoto. The restaurant is based inside a very old machiya which gives this place an amazing atmosphere. If you go there, you definitely must try Nira Manju and gyoza (actually everything is so tasty, been there many times ?). I really recommend to book the room with the view on the inner Japanese garden.
