Best Kyoto style Japanese restaurant in japan

A	Andrew Polito on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was here with a group and we had a pre-arranged set meal, so my experience my not reflect what typical customers should expect. The location and out door seating were nice, but the food and service were mediocre at best. They put some effort into the plating and presentation of the food, but the portions were minuscule and not very appetizing. The vegetarians among us were particularly disappointed. Services was lackluster and not very attentive.

I	Iris Moroz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fine Japanese food served in a more western style. You don't get many small plates. The tuna with sesame seeds was delicious. We also ordered leek wrapped in beef and tampura for starters. The dessert was also great. Great view of the river. The staff was extremely friendly.

Inside the venue is elegant and understated, with a great view over looking the river from the main room. We tried a variety of dishes which all tasted really good. You can tell that they have taken great care with preparing the meal. Overall it was a relaxing and pleasurable experience. We would go back!

Price was adequate, but portions could be a bit larger. Anyway, I would definitely recommend it, due to the quality of the food served and the good service!
D	Dario & Sara on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Slightly expensive, but it has a beautiful terrace on the river, that makes all the similar restaurants of the alley more pricey than usual. The food was excellent, the service too. They serve wine and the dessert of the day was really yummy! About 40 euros per person.
