★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 平日のお昼にお伺いしました。10月末までは納涼床でご飯が食べられるということで、納涼床でランチをいただきました。開店は12:00～でしたが、5分前くらいにいれていただき、数量限定のランチを注文することができました。ランチのお米は京都の伏見のものだとメニューにあり、他にも京野菜の天ぷらや生麩の天ぷら、生ゆば、炙り鱧、わさび風味のきゃらぶきなど、京都の地のものも食べることができ京都を堪能できるランチでした。量は多すぎず少なすぎずで腹八分目くらいで食べ終わる量でした。開店から20分ほどすると納涼床も満床になっていました。もし納涼床で確実に食べたいなら開店直後を狙うか予約をしてから行くのがいいと思います！
 I visited you at noon on weekdays. Until the end of October, I had lunch at Noryo Yuka because I could eat rice at Noryo Yuka. The store opened from 12:00, but I was able to order a limited number of lunches by having them enter about 5 minutes ago. The lunch rice is from Fushimi, Kyoto, and you can also eat Kyoto vegetables such as Kyoto vegetable tempura, raw fu tempura, raw yuba, roasted sardines, and wasabi-flavored charabuki. It was a lunch where you can enjoy Kyoto. The amount was not too much, not too little, and it was enough to finish eating in about the 8th minute of the stomach. About 20 minutes after the store opened, the Noryo Yuka floor was full. If you want to make sure you eat at Noryo Yuka, you should aim for it right after the store opens or make a reservation before you go!

床に直接座るため、小一時間も居ると疲れます。
無愛想な接客。1度体験すれば次はいいかも。
ちりめん山椒が掛かったご飯は美味しいかったです。
First visit in July 2021. I had the first experience of Noryo Yuka.
Since I sit directly on the floor, I get tired after spending an hour.
Unfriendly customer service. If you experience it once, it may be good next time.
The rice with chirimen sansho was delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Kaiseki dinner was not bad; taste average but portion was relatively small (base on personal experience). Plating was below average for Kaiseki standard. The highlight was the grill fish; very flavorful with crunchy grilled skin. The room was quiet and clean, and can be considered as kids-friendly. Was quite disappointed that vanilla ice cream was served as dessert, which didn't seem too authentic (again, base on personal experience). Staff just handed the bill to us right after the dessert, which felt a bit odd for a Kaiseki service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled in this place by chance last time we came to Kyoto and we went back again this time. We have tried many Kasaki meals, from normal ones to 3 star Michelin places, and this is one of the best quality for the price paid. The full Kasaki meal is 10,000 Yen and its absolutely worth. Quality if the food is great, service is nice, dishes are creative and they change with the season as it is supposed to be. Not to miss.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was ok but the treatment we received was horrible. We were looking for a place with a riverside terrace for dinner that wouldn't cost a fortune. Looking at the prices outside, it seemed reasonable. On the menu however appeared only 4 set options the cheapest of which was 5500 yen. We asked if we could share one set between 2 people and were told no so we apologized, got up and were about to leave. Then the waiters came running after us saying that it's ok to share and so we stayed. Ended up eating 4 sets in 4 people without our knowledge which was way too much food for us to begin with and made a giant dent on our budget. Of course not speaking Japanese is our problem and maybe it was just a miscommunication but then they should have just let us go. Furthermore, the dinner was rushed, with plates being taken away before we could finish them, it seemed like they wanted to get rid of us as soon as possible. Overall, this was the worst experience we had in Kyoto.
