R	Rafina A. Rahman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bed for a single is larger than the other hotels that I have stayed in, which is really good. Don't care for the pillow provided. It's supposed to be good for your health or something but it gave me a headache. Room comes with free buffet breakfast. There are, and always will be, gluttons, who eat like it's their last meal. Good thing that the buffet is monitored and topped up. Location is fantastic to get around Kyoto. The hotel is on a road that doesn't allow vehicles through, so, slightly worried when I had to get a taxi at 5am. It was actually fine. I just had to go to Takashiyama's taxi stand, about 5 minutes by foot, and I easily hailed one. May not return because of the pillow though.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Make sure you take advantage of different pillow options in the reception area if you don't like the buckwheat pillow.

The service was top-notch, the rooms were clean and decently sized, and the breakfast was great -- it changed a bit each day and included amazing fresh baked pastries. The location is also great with lots of restaurants, shops, markets, and bars within walking distance, as well as being near transit. Bonus: you can log into your netflix account on the tv.

S	Steven Lin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms are tiny but the location is unbeatable as it is within perfect walking distance from either Kyoto downtown or Gion with many buses and nearby trains if you want to go further to places like Fushimi inari or Arashimaya.
v	virulent on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I stayed at Super Hotel over a year ago and we still comment every once in a while about how we miss their breakfast buffet! It was such a delicious eclectic mix of food and we each liked something different about it! The hotel itself was located in a very convenient spot within short walking distance from the main Kyoto area. It was over a year ago so I don't remember anything specific about the room itself (that also means I don't recall anything particularly bad) but I do remember the nice little hotsprings bath which I believe was a rotation every few hours between male and female with clear signs. While I went in, my husband would look up places nearby or vice versa so it wasn't too bad even though we were separated. If (more likely when) we go back to Kyoto, we'll probably stay here again!
