Hotel Resol Trinity Kyoto - Kyoto

Hotel is really stylish, with a perfect blend of Japanese and Western accommodation types. The room was big when compared to other Japanese hotels, though the removal of the table and chairs would have been nice so there could be more room for luggage. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable I've ever been in and they supplied extra pillows with no fuss at all. The bathroom included a smallish tub but my god the shower was amazing. High pressure with consistent heat and an awesome mist mode that I've not seen before. Mixed Japanese and Western breakfast was good because the staff was very accommodating. When things ran out, they refilled them quickly. My suggestion would be to spread the breakfast out a little more so that everyone isn't waiting for the same counter. The food items were served in small dishes with tiny serving utensils which slowed down the whole process, but once again the staff were diligent with replenishing things, so it didn't really matter. The onsen was pretty small which made it a bit uncomfortable when there were more than a couple of people in it. Strangers don't necessarily want to have grazing touches of each other while naked. Most hotels at this price have nothing though so nothing to complain about really. The bat downstairs had a really cool atmosphere and lots of guests were staying to eat there and enjoy it. That speaks to its quality, though I didn't try it myself. Location was good. A 15 minute walk to the downtown area and a few minutes to the nearest subway. The public transport doesn't seem to connect well in Kyoto so you might find yourself walking to another station that is further away to go where you want to go. Heavenly beds, good breakfast, stylish, at a great price point, and served by hard-working staff. Can't get any better and I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

A great place to stay. I liked the location for me it was in the middle of everywhere I wanted to go. Efficient, modern and comfortable room with all the amenities. The room also came with lounge wear to hang out or wear down fir breakfast. Very good customer service at the reception and a bar and restaurant included. I also enjoyed the heated pool for relaxation. I definitely would stay again.

Love the service and comfy room. We came early than check-in time, they had the rooms ready so we could got in earlier after a long flight. Thank you! The room has nice size. Good breakfast. From Kansai airport, easy by taking limousine bus straight to Kyoto city hall station, quite convenience. However, need to walk quite a bit to local bus stop.

The customer service was incredible! Top notch! They happily helped me with a taxi, giving directions, everything. The rooms were beautiful, the onsen was extremely soothing and nice. They gave you a lot of amenities and the location was quiet yet walking distance from everything. The price was very good for everything you get. The restaurant was pretty nice but there were tons of restaurants nearby if you wanted something different. Have already recommended to friends and i intend to stay again next year

Nice hotel. Very clean. Onsen was super small but better than nothing. If your a tall American man w big feet, big everything ? don’t expect for the outfits they provide for onsen to fit because they are small ? my husband looked hilarious trying to wear it ??Breakfast extremely expensive but food was really good. Beds extremely hard but that’s normal for Japanese hotels. If your driving there is a parking lot in front across the street but it’s expensive. Uber eats delivers food here as well but everything closes to early so don’t wait too late to order! We would stay here again :)

Hotel Resol Trinity Kyoto is a nice hotel. I stayed here for a few nights. I found the staff here very friendly. Checking in was very easy and they take your temperature before finalizing your reservation. In the lobby area there is a restaurant bar called Blue Books Cafe where you can get breakfast (7am-9:30am), lunch (11:30am-2pm) and Cafe (2pm-5pm). Service hours will vary, please check during your stay. Breakfast requires a meal ticket, you can order them when you book your room online and I think you can buy them at hotel reception also. Breakfast is a small buffet mix of Japanese and western foods. I found the food to be delicious. I found my hotel room to be very clean and comfortable. The hotel rooms comes with a tv, an electric kettle with tea and coffee cups with packet drip coffee and tea bags. There is free water bottles and a mini fridge. The hotel has nightwear if you need pajamas. One of my favorite things about this hotel is it has its own sento (bathhouse) for hotel guests only. Its small sento but very clean. Just like the hotel rooms the sento provides shampoo, conditioner, body wash and face wash for guests. There is one large hot bath to use after washing up that can fit roughly 8 to 10 people. The locker room area is a little small, so you’ll have to share the changing space with other hotel guests especially if your using a locker above/below another guest’s locker. Because of the pandemic, only 9 guests can use the sento at a time (only 9 locker keys available). So 9 people on the men’s side and 9 on the women’s side. I had no issues on using the sento, there was no wait time. There is places to sit and wait just outside the bathhouse if capacity is full. I recommend using the sento if you like the bathhouse experience or you want to sit in a hot bath that’s already available but just make sure you wash up before getting in! I would totally stay in Hotel Resol Trinity Kyoto again if I visit Kyoto again!

Love staying at the Hotel Resol Trinity. They allowed us to check in a little early since our room was already available and we are truly grateful for their kindness. The room was clean and nice sized. There were tons of amenities, including a Matcha tea set. Free water was also provided. Our room had electric blackout Blinds, which made the room dark and cozy. The bed was super comfortable. I enjoyed the relaxing Onsen (spa). The hotel location is excellent. There are tons of restaurants and things to do Nearby. We walked everywhere. The hotel doesn’t have parking on site but they will provide a map with some affordable parking in the area. Most are around 10 minutes walk, which is not bad. There is a great restaurant on site. Delicious food and fair prices. I would definitely stay here if I return to Kyoto.

Very reasonable place to stay. Close to major attractions and good access to buses and train. New and clean. Foreigners friendly. Try the public bath on the ground floor to enjoy Japanese style relaxation .
