Como is the best host. He was always there to help in any way he could, and seemed to be able to come up with anything we asked for! The apartment is beautiful, light and airy, and impeccably clean. Fluffy white towels, lots of little extras, like teabags, umbrellas, washing detergent ( so good to have a washing machine!) , lots of shampoos and conditioners, body wash, toothpaste, slippers, pocket wifi, hairdryer, and more. Great well equipped kitchen, with hot plate, pans, chopping board, crockery, knives, microwave, teatowel. Just enough for us to get breakfast, cook an egg, and store food in the fridge. Aircon worked well, toilet was full of gadgets. The apartment is in a secure and well maintained building, a little out of the busy part of town , but very convenient for public transport, both buses and trains. Lots of 7/11 and similar very close by, also a great cafe/ bakery  where we found REAL freshly baked bread and cakes, a couple of doors away. We did lots of sightseeing, one of my favourite was Nijo Castle, which is only 5 minutes walk away. But using online maps got us everywhere easily. It's quiet at night and we slept well. Actually quite sad to leave our home away from home! Como is also the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he always replied very quickly. He organised a dinner reservation for us at the last minute, and emailed me a note to show the restaurant on arrival. He also got us tickets for a Maiko performance, which was really special, and felt like a special privilege. He is well connected! And he took us to the theatre by taxi to collect our tickets. I loved that he met us outside the subway when we arrived, and walked us to the apartment, and showed us around. Having got lost in Tokyo, I loved being met by my host! No stress. Como is a very busy man , but always made time for us, and we felt very looked after. We really recommend this apartment!
