I	Ippo Kyoto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「～木屋町に宿をとり川向の御多佳さんに～」「春の川を隔てて男女哉(かな)」漱石。漱石は大正四年の春に京都を訪ね、1ヶ月ほど過ごしたが、木屋町三条を上った場所で宿をとり、鴨川を隔てて縄手新橋のお茶屋「大友」の女将である「多佳女」にこの句を送ったという。ちなみに「大友」は吉井勇の「かにかくに祇園は恋し寝るときも‥‥」の歌の舞台とのこと。鴨川の対岸にいる御多佳さんへの漱石の想いが伝わるような歌です。さて句碑は現在、御池大橋の西詰の南側にあります。かつては橋のすぐ横にありましたが、道路工事などで私の知る限りでも2回は場所が動いています。一時期は石碑のみが草のなかに埋もれて、文字も読めない状態だったこともありました。現在は歩道の植栽の中にあり、案内板もあり、文字も読めます。但し草が生い茂っていることも‥。 "To the lodge in Kiya-cho, to the river-side Ota-san," "A man and woman in the spring river (Kana)" Soseki.
