京鴨極上ひつまぶし~鬼肉盛り~ 食べました。 お櫃のご飯の上に、炭火で焼かれた京鴨レアステーキがいっぱい乗っています。 1杯目はしゃもじで十字切りに、4等分にして先ずはそのままで。 2杯目は、ネギ、海苔、わさびなどの薬味を加えて。 3杯目は、ぶぶあられをかけて出汁茶漬けに。 4杯目は卓上の朝倉山椒や黒七味などでスパイシーに。 ロゼ色に適度に火入れされた京鴨は、まったく臭みがなく、鴨肉の旨味やコクが豊かで、脂が甘くて美味しい❗ ほっこり落ち着くステキなお店 次は夜も行ってみたいっす❗ しゃぶしゃぶや燻製も気になります。

Terrible experience. Walked in and the only thing the chef could say was “sorry only Japanese menu” and turned us away. Wow.......amazingly atrocious experience. Thank you for your response. I will try to visit again one day.

This was a lovely discovery. A locals izakaya style restaurant. Small, but staff and regulars gave a very warm reception. Food was delicious , their speciality was smoked food, which you have to try. The more traditional food was also delicious eg sashimi, Japanese omelette were amazing. Cost for what we had was good and by Kyoto standards not expensive. If you come to Kyoto and want a local, quality izakaya experience come here.
