龍馬がおりょうさんに初めて会った場所を見つけた。
昔、おりょうさんの口述記録を読んだことがある。
それに龍馬との馴れ初めが書かれていた。
おりょうさんの母親が方広寺の門近くにあった京都の浪人たちが集まり寝泊まりする様な場所で、浪人たちのご飯炊きなどをする仕事をしていたとの事。
おりょうさんは度々その家に遊びに行っていたようだ。そこで龍馬がおりょうさんに惚れた、と言う様なことが述べられていた。
昔、その方広寺の門あたりに何か痕跡はないかと歩いたことがある。その時は、まさか当時の方広寺がそんなに広いとは思ってもみなかったが、今回の大仏跡を追うことにより偶然、かつての方広寺南大門の東20メートル辺りで、痕跡を見つけた。
現在は、三十三間堂の南大門になっている。
偶然とはいえ、嬉しかった。40年ぶりに見つけたことになる。

The beginning of getting used to Ryoma was written on it.
It is said that Oryo's mother was working to cook rice for the Ronin in a place where the Ronin in Kyoto gathered and stayed near the gate of Hokoji Temple.
It seems that Oryo often went to the house to play. It was stated that Ryoma fell in love with Oryo-san.
Once upon a time, I walked around the gate of Hokoji Temple to see if there were any traces. At that time, I never thought that Hokoji Temple was so large at that time, but by following the ruins of the Great Buddha this time, I happened to find a trace about 20 meters east of the former Hokoji Nandaimon.
Currently, it is the Namdaemun of Sanjusangendo.
It was a coincidence, but I was happy. I found it for the first time in 40 years.
