Located on the west side of Sanjusangendo Namdaemun. Be careful of the car as it is on a narrow street. The site is small but tidy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 浄土宗西山禅林寺派、創設は(1611年) 本堂は(1699年)の再建。醍醐寺 三宝院の開山 理源大師の自作念持仏で 大峰山の大蛇を退治したという「馬頭観音菩薩」が祀られています。馬頭山 専称寺と号し、馬頭さんのお寺と呼ばれています❗又、江戸時代の陶芸家 欽古堂亀祐(1765～1837年)の墓が有ります。本名は 土岐亀助 実家は伏見人形の土偶師であったが 20代後半に 作陶に入り 青磁などを手掛け 型物成形の名手と言われました。「陶器指南」を著しています。塩小路通り 大和大路を少し東に行ったところに有ります。
Jodo Buddhism Nishiyama Zenlin School, founded (1611) The main hall was rebuilt in (1699). "Horse head-roaring bodhisattva" that the Otomiyama serpent was exterminated by his own memorial buddha of Daigoji Sanbuin at Daigoji Sanbayo has been enshrined. It is called Musashiyama mountain temple and it is called Mr. Masakado's temple. Also there is a grave of ceramist Kikkodo Kameyo (1765-1837) in the Edo period. The real name is Tokumi Kameosuke 's parents, who was a daigaku of Fushimi dolls but entered the pottery in the latter half of his 20s and was said to be a masterpiece of hand shaping molded celadon etc. I have written "Pottery Ginnan". It is in the place where I went a little east to Shiokodo-dori Yamato-dori.
