今はポケモンGOのジムに設定されており、源氏と平家に代わって日夜ポケモンマスターどもが戦闘を繰り広げています。

見つけにくいですが、ファンなら是非一度は足を運んでください。八条口から徒歩8分ほど。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 塩小路須原の交差点を南向きに行くとJRの高架があり、それをくぐってすぐ西側の市営住宅の前にひっそりと「平清盛終焉推定地」の石碑と説明書のパネルが有ります。
この辺りに平安時代末期、平清盛の側近として活躍した平盛国の邸宅があったとさるところです。この邸宅で平清盛が没したとされています。
石碑とパネルがセットであったので見つけやすかったがどちらか1つなら見落としてたかもしれません。
