黒染屋さんの敷地自体が東から西に向かって緩く傾斜した土地で、思わぬ形で西洞院川の痕跡も発見できました。

道路に面した壁に、蛇口があって、そこからチョロチョロと出ていたのですが、黒染めのお店の方が中にちゃんとした井戸と蛇口があるのでどうぞと言われ、お邪魔しました。
お店の人がお話をしてくれました。
京都盆地の下には、211億t (琵琶湖は 275億t)の水があるそうです。
盆地の北から其々の川が何本もあって、岩盤も違うので、成分も違うそうです。
此処は通り名、西洞院川が流れていたが、暗渠にしたそうです。
簡易計測ですが、硬度 134μs 導電率 63ppm 水温 13.5°c でした。
地元の方は、御飯を炊いたり、コーヒーを淹れたりするそうです。又、お出汁を取ると味が引き立つそうです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 西洞院通りに面した黒染め屋の壁からチョロチョロと水が出ていて案内板も有ります。建物内にも案内が有り、更に奥に行くと実際に井戸が有ります。私が訪問した時は、黒染め屋の方が井戸のこと、西洞院通は西洞院通を暗渠にしたこと、京都の市電で使われていた石畳があることを説明して頂けて楽しい時間だったので満点です。

こちらのお水
コーヒーを引き立てる感じがして
とても合う気がします。
コーヒーが甘くも感じる。
道路沿いはチョロチョロ出ているお水があり
奥の右側には水道のじゃ口があり
そこでお水を、汲ませて頂きました。
維持費などもあるのでしょう
1リットルあたり¥20で集金箱があります。
また、小さなゴミでも詰まってしまうような
記載がありましたので
こう言う場所が無くならない様に
使用させて頂く方々一人一人の
マナーと注意が必要ですね。
