About Wakabaya
「好きなうつわのある暮らし」「うつわを選ぶ楽しみ」を
もっと身近に感じていただけたらなぁと思い、うつわが好きな人が集える場所を作りました。
作家さんが一つ一つ丁寧に作られた器や布小物等を販売しています。
器の他にも、お菓子や珈琲、アクセサリーなど、
暮らし全体をより楽しくしてくれるアイテムもございます。
買い物の場を通して、モノだけではなく、
人と人とのつながりが結ばれていくことも大切にしています。
ソファやダイニングテーブルもございますので、
お買い物だけではなく、ちょっと休憩にお立ち寄りいただくことも大歓迎です！

専用駐車場はございません。自転車・バイクは駐輪可能です。
店頭でのお支払いは、現金の他にクレジットカードもご利用いただけます。

주인 분이 인상이 좋아 기억에 남습니다.
I stopped by after seeing the information in a Kyoto travel book written in Korean, but I was not able to purchase the product because the price was generally higher than the price written in the book.
The owner makes a good impression and is memorable.

旦那様も奥様もすごく素敵な方たちです(＾―＾)
おしゃれな店内には素敵な作家さんたちのうつわが揃っていて、ご夫婦がうつわの説明なども丁寧にしてくれますので、おすすめのうつわ屋さん(＾―＾)
うつわだけでなく、木のカトラリーなどの木工作品やアクセサリー、ドライフラワー、洋菓子など、作家さんの手作りのものを扱われていて、どれもほんとにセンスの感じるアイテムばかり。
展示会やワークショップなど、おもしろい企画が頻繁に開催されているので、いつ行っても楽しめる場所だと思います。

In the fashionable store, there are many wonderful writers' containers, and the couple will explain the containers carefully, so we recommend the container shop (^ ― ^)
Not only containers, but also woodwork works such as wooden cutlery, accessories, dried flowers, Western confectionery, and other handmade items by the artist are handled, and all of them are really tasteful items.
Interesting projects such as exhibitions and workshops are held frequently, so I think it's a place where you can enjoy whenever you go.

気さくで楽しいご夫婦がいつも笑顔で迎えてくれ、ステキなうつわとくつろげるソファーでずっといたくなる空間。
うつわなどの展示会だけでなく、色々と楽しい企画をされているのでいつ行っても楽しそう。
以前は、エダラボさんというお花屋さんのワークショップに参加し、作家さんの植木鉢に植物を植えました。
他の参加者の皆さんとワイワイと楽しいひと時が過ごせました。
今回は、灯しびとの集いで気になっていた運天さんという木工作家さんの展示会があったのでおじゃましました。
展示会は終了してしまいましたが、一部はこれからもお店に置かれるそうです。
また行きたい理由が増えてしまいました！
This is my favorite container shop in Kyoto!
A friendly and fun couple always welcomes you with a smile, and a nice container and a relaxing sofa make you want to stay forever.
Not only exhibitions such as containers, but also various fun projects are planned, so it seems to be fun whenever you go.
Previously, I participated in a flower shop workshop called Edarabo and planted plants in the artist's flowerpots.
I had a good time with the other participants.
This time, I was disturbed because there was an exhibition of a woodworker named Unten who was interested in the gathering of lanterns.
The exhibition has ended, but some will continue to be in the store.
There are more reasons I want to go again!

If you step into a quiet shop, you will find a lineup of tasteful everyday tableware selected by writers from all over the world, with their shapes and glazes. The understated feeling is nice. The price is also reasonable.
