★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 当時の中華民国の小説家、思想家、本名は周樹人で仙台市ゆかりの人物です。
明治37年（西暦1904年）に仙台医学専門学校の最初の中国人留学生として入学し、明治39年（西暦1906年）3月まで仙台市に滞在したそうです。
仙台市博物館敷地内の「魯迅の碑」は1960年設置、「魯迅像」は2001年設置されたものです。

He enrolled as the first Chinese student at Sendai Medical College in 1904, and stayed in Sendai until March 1906.
The “Monument of Lu Xun” on the site of the Sendai City Museum was set up in 1960, and the “Statue of Lu Xun” was set up in 2001.

こんな地味な場所ではなくて、もう少し陽のあたる場所が良いと思う反面、この場所で良いと思うところもある。
かって魯迅先生は、文学を通じて故国の近代化を唱えた。その想いが今、彼の国の何処にあるのか。今の彼の国は、果たしてあの時、魯迅が想い描いた姿になっているのか。この魯迅之像が見つめる先に何があるのか。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 桜はまだですが、政宗さんの胸像や魯迅さんの胸像も地震に負けないでしっかりした状態でした。因みに博物館は現在は大規模改修中で閉館しています。
The cherry blossoms haven't been seen yet, but Masamune's bust and Lu Xun's bust were in good condition without losing to the earthquake. By the way, the museum is currently undergoing a major renovation and is closed.
