あ	あっちゃん on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 味（色も塩味も）が濃いめ。アルコールいただくには良いかな。手軽に京都の料理の雰囲気味わえるかも。 The taste (both color and salt) is strong. Is it good to have alcohol? You may be able to easily enjoy the atmosphere of Kyoto cuisine.

I had a sake, assorted sashimi, and seared beef. The chef who was working at the time was very quick and very thorough. She could prepare the entire menu at once and navigate a japanglish conversation without breaking a sweat.

It's a little bit pricey but the atmosphere is really charming and you are eating in a local restaurant with fresh ingredients. Quality has a value, you just found it. All my blessings to them ;)
J	James Ward on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little 16 seat place that has an English menu. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for our large group of 8. The food is delicious, I recommend the beef rib, whiskey highball, 800 yen sake. The a la carte sashimi is a bit small, but looks yummy.

Very friendly staff with well knowledge about sake, wine, shochu, etc...whatever they have. So homey and cozy small place. It is one of the best place to spend a night quiet with some drinks and good food.
