★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 角倉了以は国内諸河川の開発整備に従事し、慶長１６年(１６１１年)には この地二条より鴨川の水を引き、伏見に達する高瀬川を開削しました。 現在の「がんこ高瀬川二条苑」辺り一帯は角倉家の邸地だったそうです。
 Ryo Kadokura was engaged in the development and maintenance of various domestic rivers, and in 1611 (1611), he drew the water of the Kamo River from Nijo, and excavated the Takase River reaching Fushimi. It seems that the area around the current "Ganko Takasegawa Nijoen" was the residence of the Kadokura family.
