Groundwater often used by locals. It is what nondescript faucet, but you can draw an easy to drink with cold water. I bring an empty PET bottle about twice a week and use it as drinking water.

Even if people know it, local people and people from Japanese restaurants often come to pick it up, and it is introduced on TV several times. It is one of the locations of "Tan". If you look at it for the first time, a mere faucet comes out between the wall of the building and the bulletin board, so you might think it's tap water. Sometimes I drive a car and come to a plastic tank to collect water, which is one of my favorite water. I think the water is delicious even if you drink it or use it for cooking. For the time being, you can get it for free, but since there is a box of groundwater management fee cooperation money, I put 100 yen each time for the time being (lol) I think that it can be used forever without environmental pollution , If you can come here, a small amount will do, so please cooperate.

It is one of Kyoto's famous waters, "Copper Susui". It may also be broadcast on TV. There are some people who come to draw water. It was originally a well dug for disaster prevention. It was said that the water quality inspection was perfect, but it seems that the management side also has a lot of trouble. Some of them were taken back in large quantities and sold. Let's get it right away. The very clear water was cool and the taste was very mellow. It feels a little heavier than the water in Somei at Nashinoki Shrine. Dohda School District is a base for modernization in the Meiji era The name "Dohda" has a statue of camel at the starting point from Luoyang to the west of the Han dynasty, and Heiankyo also followed the Chinese metropolitan system. The second governor, Masamichi Uemura, introduced the "Kyoto 31st Program Elementary School," which opened on September 21, 1897, because it was called "Dohda Shunbo." It is said that the name was changed to "Dohda School". After that, "Dohda School" became Dohda Junior High School due to the reform of the school system after the war, and after 1980, it became Dohda Arts and Crafts High School. "Dohda" can be said to be a school name related to arts and crafts as a point of contact between East and West civilizations. The school site occupies a great position overlooking Higashiyama from the banks of the Kamo River. Over time, Dohda has also become a stage that serves as another point of contact between East and West civilizations. The historic site of the Meiji Restoration, the former site of the residence of the lord of the lord, and the site of the clan's residence still remain on campus, and the Takase River created by Suminokura Ryoi played a leading role in logistics from the Edo period to the Meiji era. At the beginning of the Meiji era, the building secret bureau (RIKEN), Oriden, Dyeing hall, scholarship office, medical treatment hospital (advancement of prefectural hospital), etc. were set up. A city hall was also set up in the middle of the Meiji era, giving the appearance of a modernization base in the Meiji era. Currently, the Dohda Autonomous Federation functions as the cornerstone of fellowship between towns and various groups in the school district, and manages and operates the Dohda Kaikan and Dohda Historical Museum as self-government activities and various similar places. doing. The archives store a large number of textbooks and local materials from the early Meiji era and before nationalization, including the "Tsukan Koume" donated by Konoe Atsumaro to the school and the "Ten Cup" given by the Emperor Meiji to Toko. Is also included. (Source: Kyoto City) As soon as you go east on Iwakawa-dori, you will reach Kamogawa. It seems that there used to be the Iwakawa Bridge. Just south of this is the former Hotel Fujita, now the Ritz-Carlton.

A hidden famous water used by people in Kyoto every day. It has a very mellow taste, and it is very delicious when cooked with tea or boiled with this water. There is a box where users can pay their own money for maintenance. Unfortunately, there are an increasing number of people who do not follow this, and recently, not only Japanese but also foreign language notices have been posted near the faucet. I think it's really sad to meet such a scene where you feel the lack of morals. It is a shared property that everyone loves and drinks for a long time.

You can come to put them in PET bottles one after another. It is easy to put in because water comes out normally from the faucet. It has no odor and has a smooth mouthfeel. There is a box to put money in, so let's put money in. Water thieves are no good.
