★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A highly recommended place to have dinner after a long day visiting Kyoto. The okonomiyaki was incredibly amazing (one of the best I ever had), and the place was really well decorated.
The only inconvenience was that we couldn't pay our meals separately, which was a mess for us considering you can do it in almost every restaurant in Japan

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Employees didn't communicate well on the one person one order basis. Me and my girl friends order 2 and shared. However due to language barrier only found out when we are going to pay. Nice comfy place with private dining area. Free ocha and water. They have a locker for your shoes for those that eat at private dining area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was really good. Cool atmosphere. The staff was English friendly. I had the beef nerve and extra egg combo and it was awesome. Wife had seafood combo and she loved it. Japanese comfort food. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely staff, amazing food and reasonable prices! It has a very pleasant atmosphere, smoker friendly, open until 1 am as opposed to most of other places in Kyoto. You can order from a tablet at the table, which also has an English menu. There is a hot plate in the middle of the table, they serve the food there so it doesn't get cold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So delicious! My friend is vegetarian and if you want a meat free option of anything make sure to clarify. We said no meat but still received an item with seafood but they remade it very quickly with no meat and it was delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had dinner at Donguri どんぐり after some unrestrained shopping, ordered a yakisoba with sunny side up, and an okonomiyaki with bacon, cheese, and sunny side up. Their digital ordering system allowed customers to add up to 4 toppings, price extra of course. Also had a cucumber dish in three sauces for appy, a gyoza and a melon soda. The food was pretty good, though I must have over-ordered coz we totally couldn’t finish them. The hot plate on each table helped keep the food nice and hot. Has free WiFi, but their SSID couldn’t be found, and their other ones couldn’t be logged on with the password given. We asked an assistant, and she also answered “わかりません (I don’t know)” after a lot of umms and head scratching. Has an English menu. Seating was comfy enough. Since it was quite late when we got there, there were only two other tables. Nice place overall.
