Best Train station in japan

R	Roger Aba on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This stop will bring to you a busy part of Kyoto. This is the end of the Hankyu Kyoto line. Once you come out, it is busy. Getting on the Keihan lines, cross the river. Note: this is not Kyoto station. -------------------------------------------- Out of my trip here, I did enjoy this and the cost. 400 yen and almost an hour.
S	Stephen Abraham on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great route to get from Osaka to Gion area in Kyoto. The Kawaramachi station serves the Hankyu line connecting Osaka to Kyoto. Located at the edge of Gion area, this line provides a very convenient transport between both cities. Trains are plentiful. The Kawaramachi station itself sits below a few large malls including the Takashimaya building. It's very convenient to get essentials including very good food at the lower ground floor here. And because there is only a single line here, it's not likely to get confused here. Unlike other large train stations.
M	Marcelle Wan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn’t use JR pass at all for Osaka and Kyoto since I’m not staying near JR line. Bought 2 days Kansai pass for Hankyu line for Kyoto and other areas and it is really convenient. Can just walk to Gion area and Kiyumizudera from this station.

東	東京日本橋梅田 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am Japanese. The Kawaramachi station is Hankyu's station, not JR's station. This station is a subway station. You can go to Osaka, or Umeda. Of course, you can go to Kobe. Kawaramachi or Shijo is the best downtown in Kyoto, or the Kansai region. Kawaramachi or Shijo is in the north-side from the Kyoto station. From the Kyoto station, you can go there for only 30 minutes on foot. You can enjoy in Kawaramachi. Of course, you can buy many goods and eat many delicious foods. You can play at a game-center. If you find a mistake of my sentences, then please tell me.
S	Stephanie Parsons on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tourist information services located in the train station near the central exit were incredibly helpful and prompt in helping me locate a camera I left on a train. They made multiple calls and located it within a few hours, and even gave my boyfriend and I free tickets to the station where it was found to collect it. Most of the staff spoke good English and everybody was very friendly. The trains themselves are great, comfortable with rustic interiors. Great way to get around Kyoto :)

A	Agnes Tan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From Namba Oriental hotel, with 2 luggage walked to Nippombashi Station (Better if you know underground “Namba Walk” shopping street). Take the local express train direct to Kyoto Kawaramachi Station, my intended destination.
