Went in a little later and was seated right away. We had a coursed dinner so it takes a while I wouldn't go later than 9-9:15 if you want to take your time. This was by far the best meal I've had in Japan. I wanted to spend a good amount on a nice wagyu steak and I'm stoked I found this place.

Brilliant Kobe wagyu steak here! We opted for the Premium set menu (15,000Y) with the tenderloin option which is the most expensive, so I can only speak for that, but I thought it was as perfect/flawless as beef gets. Other options go down to 8,000Y for a set menu. The experience is mostly the same for them all: counter seating around their horseshoe kitchen grill watching the chef cook for you and others. It's a fun experience to witness in Japan, and see it done seriously--without the theatrics overseas teppanyaki joints. All the other dishes were also great, as was their beer and Barolo wine of which we had a bottle. I wish they had a bit of a broader selection of wines.

I've been pondering over how to rate my experience here. We had the standard menu with the premium choice Kobe beef. It's a 7 course menu with the beef being the absolute star of the show. The other courses sometimes made us raise an eyebrow. The 'hors d'oeuvres' were ok. The beef sushi was interesting but not for my taste buds. The salad was rather plain. And why they served us fried rice with scrambled egg (could have used more seasoning) as a separate dish after the Kobe beef remains a mystery to me. If I were to come back I would order the 200 gram Kobe beef and that's it because it's an absolute delight. Oh and yes, the staff is great here as well!

This restaurant specializes in Kobe beef. But you don’t just come here for the food, the experience of seeing the chef work his art in front of you is part of the magic. I rate it a 4/5 compared to skill of the chefs at ANA Hotel In Tokyo.

We were a bit nervous when we walked in because the place was full of tourists, but the food was amazing. English menu and English speaking staff. You can get one of 3 tasting menus (2 of which include Kobe) or order a la carte. Kobe beef is delicious and melts in your mouth. Amazing fried rice. Expensive compared to a lot of places we went in Japan, but not expensive compared to similar meals at home in New York.

The coursing was creative. The staff was very professional. The meat was predictably tender and explosive, like other wagyu I've had. The portions were a little light for the price, though the fried rice does its job of filling you up after five bites of Kobe sirloin. I would recommend this place for the experience and ambiance, a little more than I'd recommend it for the value.

Changed our dinner reservations to a lunch as we wanted to visit Osaka during the afternoon. The place was pretty empty when we got there with only 4 other guests. Food was delicious as the chef cooked every piece to perfection in front of your eyes. The meal was kind of pricey but you kind of have to expect that with Kobe beef. I knew I wasn't going to Japan in a while and this was my first Kobe experience in Japan so my friend and I split all 3 different cuts of the Aged Kobe steak. I would have to say my favorite was the Sirloin than the lean and finally the tenderloin. Even though it was labeled as lean it was Kobe beef so still juicy and flavorful. The tenderloin was definitely the softest and easiest to chew but I feel like it lacked as much flavor as the other cuts. I also saw some ladies order the Hamburger steak for lunch and that was enormous! That actually seemed the best bang for the buck but I was here for Kobe beef. I was satisfied but if I ever came back I would just get the sirloin and also try that hamburger for lunch.

It's not cheap but the food was amazing. Never had Kobe beef before and the experience was brilliant. You get your own dedicated chef cooking just for you. Random was how we had to wait nearly 30 mins just to get a drink. Then after that everything went smoothly.
