★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended! We sent for the beef Udon and the tempura chicken udon. The portions are HUGE and so tasty. The miso flavor is well balanced and become addictive after the first few bites.
Nice tip: match tea is on the table free to serve

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant could also be located in gentrificated Berlin. An friendly, warm, and very clean designed interior is combined with comfortable bossa nova music. The menu is simple and made it easy to choice between the aesthetically arranged udon dishes.
Taste was really good, service friendly, and besides they deep fry cooked eggs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I agree with most of the other reviews here that this is definitely one of the best udon period. We dropped by during lunch period and had to wait for abt 15min. However, the staff was polite and helpful. Overall excellent experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best udon i ever had in Japan. With reasonable price and friendly staff. Very recommended if u come to Kyoto. I tried udon with soy sauce (bukkaku) with chicken breast tempura and my wife tried udon with soy sauce with all variety tempura.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious meal with generous portion sizes. Family friendly restaurant, we were able to fit inside with the pram and they supplied us with a bowl and cutlery for the baby. She loved the udon as did I! Shame we only discovered this place on our last night in Kyoto. English menu available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great! I ordered the curry udon, only 830 yen and comes w a decent amount of beef! The noodles are so bouncy and the soup is so delicious. The service was also awesome. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely one of the best udon I've had so far in Kyoto. The bukkake soup was really tasty, and the tempura was juicy and delicious. But what really made the dish was the texture of the udon, so smooth and chewy!
They have various types of udon you can choose from, and most can be had both hot or cold. In summer, the cold udon with the dipping sauce is very refreshing.
They offer lunch value sets too, but the shop is really small, so you may not find a seat during peak hours!
