★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is basically a perfect neighborhood noodle shop. There's a single counter with space for no more than a dozen patrons, a menu on the wall. And two guys doing all the work. Ramen is 700-1000 yen, with chewy noodles in a thick shot I broth. We ordered gyoza with our ramen, and they made it on the spot. Not a whole lot of conversation going on, just local folks wandering in, placing their orders, enjoying the meal, and then heading back out. If I lived in the area, I'd probably eat here once or twice a week.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, warm place with friendly staff. Ramen was alright, I'd recommend going for the value set during lunch. Tried the karaage too, it was not bad! The English menu can be found pasted on the wall in the middle of the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit if you're on a budget ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A no frills joint at Kyoto’s Higashiyama-Ku serving a local crowd with bowls of a ridiculously tasty and rich broth filled with excellent noodles and some pork, topped with two or three handfuls of scallions. Intense and satisfying. One of the best ramens I’ve had in Japan. Fried chicken was good as well and wish we had space to try their gyozas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have korean Chinese and English menu. Nice ramen lots of shallots. After we finish our meal we saw the next table ordered fry chicken, big pieces and smell good. We will try next time.
