★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本格鉄板焼きのミスジステーキいただきました。
ワサビと食べるのも、
岩塩だけで食べるのも良かったですが、
ニンニクチップを乗せて、左上のソースにつけて食べるのが個人的に1番美味しかったです。
写真を撮り忘れてしまったのですが、
『牛とろ丼』は珍しいメニューでしたが、
温かいご飯の上に凍ったお肉のフレークを乗せて食べるので、
ご飯の熱で凍ったお肉の脂も程よく溶けて、口溶けも程よく、とても美味しかったです。
また京都に戻ったときにお邪魔したいと思います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The previous reviews must have been a joke. The food is not really good and for the poor quality way overpriced (e.g. "sweet tomato" for 800 JPY is simply a tomato, cut in slices with a bit of salt). The meat also lacks quality and the meals in general lack class for the asked price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over priced for dinner and service took so long. Over 3 hrs for a set menu dinner because the ‘chef’ was too busy having drinks with his friends than to serve customers and cook the food. Would not recommend and was very disappointed with meal. Steak was good but everything else was average. Salad came out of fridge semi frozen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful small restaurant off the main street in Gion. The chef and his assistant were extremely welcoming. We were served a multi-course dinner that started with a cold shrimp appetizer, followed by a bean sprout salad, and pumpkin cream soup. For the main course we selected the Japanese beef option and were served the most amazing steak with perfect marbling. My wife said it was the best steak she ever had. Desert followed with peach sorbet. Wonderful dining experience well worth the money. I highly recommend.
