★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small restaurant with only eight seats run by a couple. Menu is simple and food is good. The consumme is strong and the ramen is al dente. I would recommend taking the breast meat, which is more tender than the leg.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious! The restaurant is very well designed and has a great relaxing atmosphere. The chef really knows his stuff. He can tell you so much about every ingredient. The menu is nice and simple and artfully crafted. He puts his heart into every recipe it seems. He takes such time to make it and it comes out delicious! I had the regular duck ramen with an egg and it was so good. My partner had the orange sauce duck which was incredible. We had never had anything like it. Especially for the price which is very reasonable. I highly recommend this to anyone in the area! Whether you're in the mood for ramen or not this place will be a great decision. I will be going back every time I visit Kyoto!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to go through a dark alley to get to this place. Lol. Food is okay. Their menu is full of duck emojis but no worries, the store staff will explain everything to you (in japanese). They are very accommodating. However, the place is not for groups since it’s a bit small and there’s limited space inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden duck ramen shop. The ramen here are made with lots of care and attention. The owner/chef could speak some English and explained the dishes to us. All staff members were incredibly kind and nice to chat to.
I highly reccomend trying this place. The duck breast is best in my opinion but you can also ask for duck thigh. There aren't many seats so you may have to wait in line.
