The tofu set came with local traditional Japanese serving appetizer, thick soy drink that bring up your appetite, preparing to taste the authentic tofu.
The tofu came with two favor, original taste and with mocha. The mile taste of the mocha enriched the taste further with pleasant aroma.
The tofu set also included soba noodle and tempura. What that surprise me is there is a soba drink like soup and it tastes so good.
Highly recommend for anyone that would like to try local food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a seat with a beautiful garden view. We got the set meal - a bit expensive for a lunch, but there was so much food, and all of it delicious. In the hot, humid summer, the chilled tofu was especially refreshing.

Next to the river and, the food is really nice!
I’d de definitely go back when back in town.
Ask for a seat viewing the garden!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice and popular tofu and soba Kaiseki restaurant next to the pretty Katsura River in Ukyo Ward, Sagatenryuji Susukinobabacho . Very good service , beautiful scenery of the Katsura River and delicious dishes at a reasonable price . Worth a try when you are in Arashiyama !
