★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2017.4.6 桂川の中洲、中之島に有る和食店。桜の季節にランチで利用。1名でも快く対応して下さりとても親切。接客も料理も景色も最高でした。
 2017.4.6 A Japanese restaurant located in Nakanoshima, Nakasu, Katsura River. Used for lunch during the cherry blossom season. Even one person is willing to respond and is very kind. The customer service, food and scenery were excellent.

おススメです。
It is said that you can eat with such good customer service at the shop that you entered without reservation. It's amazing that you can enjoy the atmosphere of a restaurant in Kyoto at a reasonable price.
I recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little more dingy than you'd think from the photos, but the food was great. It's yakiniku, so you're grilling your own food at the table. A little scant on the veggies. This place is about meat. We didn't order the pricey wagyu, but man... whatever we had was some of the best beef I've ever put in my mouth. Revelation: wagyu is the thing everyone knows about, but it's not the last word. We still spent a little over $100, but worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little bit pricey. We spent around 9000yen (after tips and tax) but the food were exquisite. The tofu was so good it melts in your mouth. Such a great experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The portion, the price, the taste are all 'just very nice'. We had the yu-dofu zen and 3 different kyoto sake. Simple and nice for not-too-hungry early dinner. Nice and quite atmosphere at about 5pm. A nicely kept japanese garden inside the restaurant and friendly staff. We will visit it again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have their tofu set lunch for ¥2200 and it was amazing. The tofu was very smooth and everything else was refreshing. The weather was quite cold outside and we felt much better after having a hot meal.
Just a note that their Japanese style seats are tatami without under table hole to put your feet. Therefore if you cannot seat with folding feet for the whole meal, you will have to choose the side table near the windows (seats are arranged side by side in one row). Might not be the best if you are going with a few people and want to chat.
They have three other types of set lunch as well in case you don’t like tofu.
