★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious sushi off the beaten path, but close to Philosopher’s walk. Authentic sushi with perfect attention to detail. Affordable price at lunch. Sushi platter and bowl are very filling. Very cold beer. Very good chef. Have lunch here, you won’t regret it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my fiancé stumbled upon this place when looking for sushi to eat before going to philosophers path. I am sooooo glad I found this place! The owners are SUPER friendly!! The food was DELCIOUS. Hands down the best chirashi I’ve ever had!!! My fiancé had the nigiri combination set which the owner served us it to us at the bar Japanese style (one at a time) and my fiancé LOVED it!!! Also the miso soup had soba noodles in it which was a delight!!! I will be recommending this place to everyone who comes to Kyoto!

The owner is very friendly and knows how to delight his customers.The menu consists of four options and all are very delicious. I will definitvely come back during my next visit. Enjoy fresh food and great hospitality!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a small place with a five dish menu. We had the sushi meal and it was great. The squid sushi was especially nice, but all of them were amazing. The place is owned by a wonderful couple so the service is really familiar and attentive. I would definitely recommend going there, it's a really nice experice and a change from the bigger more touristy restaurants.
