★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 水明館の近くにあるごはん屋さん兼旅館屋さんで、夜にお邪魔しました。名物の鶏ちゃん定食頼みましたが、なかなかのボリュームでしたがちょうどよい味付けでぺろりでした。橋渡った先にも鶏ちゃん屋さんは何件かありますが、こちらの松園さんおすすめです
 I visited a rice shop and an inn shop near Suimeikan at night. I ordered the famous chicken set meal, but it was quite voluminous, but the seasoning was just right. There are several chicken shops at the end of the bridge, but I recommend Matsuzono-san here.

Be prepared though. It's cash only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great, superior beef. Restaurant is small and the owners are really nice. Get one of the set meals with the hida beef and a local beer. It doesn't get more authentic, and the price isn't terrible. English menu available.
