下呂駅方面から来ると、この橋を渡ると温泉街だなーって、わくわくして妙にテンションが上がりますね。
「天壌無窮 悪疫退散、下呂温泉花火物語」として、新型コロナウイルスの収束を願って夜8時半から2680発、約10分間だけ花火が上がりました。今回のテーマは、医療従事者への感謝を込めて、青を基調とした花火です。夏の花火とは異なり大きく花開く花火ではありませんが、素敵な秋の花火でした。

JR下呂駅から温泉街へ行き来するために何回か使用しました。4月頃でしたので桜を橋から見渡すことができました。欄干は白鷺で飾られていました。夜の雰囲気も素敵でした。
We used this bridge to cross over Hida river. In spring, you can watch over cherry blossoms from the bridge. The baluster was decorated with castings of herons. (There’s a legend that a heron found the source of Gero hot spring.) The atmosphere at night was also good.

I used it several times to get to and from the hot spring town from JR Gero station. It was around April, so I could see the cherry blossoms from the bridge. The balustrade was decorated with egrets. The atmosphere at night was also nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 下呂駅側から飛騨川にかかる下呂大橋を渡ると川沿いに遊歩道がもうけられています。下呂大橋や温泉ホテル(水明館)を眺めるととても景色がいいです。
下呂で花火大会が行われるのもこの下呂大橋付近です。
If you cross the Gero Ohashi Bridge over the Hida River from the Gero Station side, you will find a promenade along the river. The view is very nice when you look at Gero Ohashi and the hot spring hotel (Suimeikan).
The fireworks display in Gero is also near this Gero Ohashi Bridge.
