It is a quiet shrine. I felt that quite clean air was flowing. It's small, but worth it.

Mori Minashi Hachiman Shrine located in Gero City, Gifu Prefecture It is famous as "Gero no Kami no Matsuri" and is also an important intangible folk cultural property. The origin of this festival is said to be 400 years ago as well as 500 years ago, and it is believed that it is based on the field performance called Yushu, which celebrates good harvest in advance. The God Festival, which has been handed down without changing its shape from now on, is 8 days from 2/7 to 14 but especially the highlight of the 13-day festival and the 14-day book The festival is a masterpiece. 【Osho seal: Yes (book holder)】

Gero, which has been visited dozens of times, and despite having passed many times in front of me, I had never visited. Perhaps because of Osugi, it was in the midday of a hot summer day, but just climbing over a dozen steps of stairs made me feel at once wrapped in calm and comfortable.

It was a snowy day and it was beautiful because it was sandwiched between big trees.

English review is below Japanese We visited this shrine during our trip in Gero. There were some big cedar trees. The atmosphere was very impressive. It was like the world of "my neighbor Totoro." According to a monument there, there used to be a gigantic cedar tree, but it fell down in 1990 because it was decaying. I wish I had a chance to see it.
English review is below Japanese There were some big cedar trees growing and it was a very solemn atmosphere. The view of the world like Ghibli was wonderful. There is one monument in the precincts, and according to the explanation there, there used to be a larger cedar. (It was called Osugi in Gero.) However, unfortunately, it fell down in 1990 due to corrosion. No, I wanted to see it. We visited this shrine during our trip in Gero. There were some big cedar trees.
It is a shrine that makes you feel dignified in a healing place called a hot spring town. There were two types of book holders for the red stamp.
