F	Farrah H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is the epitome of paradise. I've been to so many onsens in Japan throughout the past 5 years but this one is my absolute favorite. A variety of hot springs, excellent multilingual AND multicultural staff, and delicious food everywhere you go. Staying the night is a little pricey but you definitely get your money's worth and then some. Also, they had American-style bacon at the breakfast buffet along with other amazing things, which is really rare in Japan!
P	Pearl Yuan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hot spring was lovely. There's massage chairs and feet massengers within the facilities as well. There's also an arcade and gym room in the hotel. The room was spacious and there is also a mini tub in the washroom which runs hot spring water if you wish to have privacy instead if the public hot spring. The hotel breakfast was just like another international breakfast buffet.

Multiple many food options are available.Old fashioned luxury styling but quite engaging.Pool - Indoor/Outdoor, GYM is onsite. Nice staff and walking distance is less than 3 min from JR station.Many public areas to sit and relax.Good for all types of travelers.
S	Scott Combs on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here as a package deal with JR as part of a day trip. The service was excellent. The onsen bath was really nice and it was huge. I felt the most relaxed I ever did and combine it with the cake/drink set I got too made it a very relaxing time. The view and weather was fantastic. It was a great time. The staff were great and every request and question was fulfilled by the staff. I was able to get an onsen tablet that is currently not widely being sold to be used later but also as a nice memory of my visit to gero onsen.

But in terms of understated luxury and service this place is great. Also very conveniently located a couple of minutes from the railway station.
J	Joseph Chow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The scale of this hot spring hotel was very large, consisted of three buildings with three different styles of onsen on different floors. The location was just two minutes walk from the railway station but free shuttle bus was still offered for easier luggage transportation. The English level of the staff was exceptionally good for all western guests. The rooms were large, equipped with relatively big bathroom and wardrobe. Traditional coffee table with electrical warm blanket was placed in the sitting area. TV was a bit small. Service should be good but my own experience was missing yukata. Car park was large. There was a souvenir shop selling all popular items. The restaurants were a bit high priced. The Japanese emperor had stayed at this hotel before.
A	Anderson Hsieh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has many onsen public baths--recommend to try them ALL! The wooden one is newer. The one on top floor has a great panorama view, but its facility a bit old. The outdoor one is very nice. It has many rooms, so you may encounter a big crowd at breakfast. It offers shuttle bus pickup from the train station, although you can just walk there in about 5 minutes.

We enjoyed using all three baths (more than once!) — something you can only do by staying there. But our room smelled like smoke. We called the front desk and they brought us a spray to use, but the smell stuck around. Given the price of our stay, we expected better in terms of the room and customer service.
