Ogura Hyakunin-isshyu Bungeien : This garden displays stone monuments of Japanese Classic series of poems composed by 100 poets originated by Fujiwara no Teika. A mountain called Ogura-yama has a stong connection with Fujiwara no Teika who had his country house called Ogura Sanso in this location. It is a small garden of enclosed space that you can make a short stop while strolling around Bamboo Grove of Sagano. A small path is winding through a forest of bamboo in circuit. The place consists of many stone monuments each stone engraved with an inscription of one example of poems. ( Trans-word+ : TGM Kyoto Guide )

A small shrine hidden withing the bamboo forest. You can make small offerings and purchase trinkets. Going to the right there are is a small moss garden with a shrine.
