S	Satti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All in all, a very good looking museum with clean toilets and good coffee. One of two exhibitions can be seen for free. Unfortunately you are not allowed to take photos in the other exhibition, there were also securities at every corner.

Disappointed at the value for money given only this one floor was open when we visited. Might be worth it when there is an interesting exhibition on too. There is a good view of the big red gate which is an added bonus.

Not crowded at all--in fact I was the only person in several of the rooms. Around 600¥ for an adult, which I consider worth the price. All of the artwork had English commentary, which was very useful.

It is really nice, would recommend to come and see, spent 3 hours in the whole museum admiring the works. The whole exhibition is probably worth billions. Bring your student card and you will get a discount on the entry tickets.

It has a good view to outside from the fourth floor, and you can see the big gate outside, that's the gate of Heian shrine, one of the most representative shrines in Kyoto.

During my visit the exhibits included the permanent collection and a special exhibition of art and design in Vienna. The first floor has lots of space for relaxing and prove watching.

I came here to be wowed by awe inspiring, slightly unusual expressions of creativity but it was far from that. It was just wrapping paper and textiles. Very boring and not worth the admission fee (とても　つまらない)
