★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 何故か今まで一度も行った事が無かった水沢温泉郷、知り合いの勧めもあって初めて行ってみた。
独特な外観の温泉施設、玄関先の木の看板から、長い歴史が感じられる。今の建物は建て直された様で、中も比較的新しく綺麗に清掃されており好感が持てる。ホール脇に無料の休憩室があるが、畳敷でないのがとても残念。
肝心の大浴場もかなり独特な造り、入口を入ると左右に脱衣室、なんとなく右側を選んだらこちらは熱め湯の方らしい、浴場に入ったら浴槽が二つ、中で繋がっているからどっちから入っても同じだった。泉質は少し青味がかってはいるが、これは恐らく浴槽の色を反映したもの、実際には乳白色の硫黄泉、殆ど気にならないほどの湯花が漂う。湯温も丁度だし浴場自体も雰囲気があり、浴槽も大きいので本当に気持ちが良い。
外には大きめの露天風呂、ここも温めと熱めの2つの浴槽に分かれており、水深が規格外の1m、一段下がった縁以外には座れない構造、少し勿体ない。立ち上がらないと見えないが眼下には田沢湖が望める。葉っぱが落ちてた今だからこその眺めかも知れない。
内湯・露天ともに満足、今度は泊まってみたいなと思わせる温泉でした。
 For some reason, I went to Mizusawa Onsenkyo, which I had never been to before, for the first time with the recommendation of an acquaintance.
A long history can be felt from the unique appearance of the hot spring facility and the wooden signboard at the entrance. The current building seems to have been rebuilt, and the inside is relatively new and clean, which gives a good impression. There is a free break room beside the hall, but it's a pity that it's not a tatami mat.
The important large communal bath is also quite unique, and when you enter the entrance, there are dressing rooms on the left and right, and if you choose the right side, this is more like hot water. It was the same when I entered. The quality of the spring is a little bluish, but this probably reflects the color of the bathtub, in fact a milky white sulfur spring, with almost unnoticeable Yunohana. The temperature of the hot water is just right, the bathhouse itself has an atmosphere, and the bathtub is big, so it feels really good.
There is a large open-air bath outside, which is also divided into two bathtubs, one for hot and one for hot, and the water depth is 1m, which is out of the standard. You can't see it unless you stand up, but you can see Lake Tazawa below. It may be the view because the leaves have fallen now.
Both the indoor and outdoor hot springs were satisfying, and this time it was a hot spring that made me want to stay.

一部の浴槽が深めなので気をつけて入りましょう。その分温まりは良いですよ。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good price, warm feeling family run onsen hotel. The best part is they accept one person reservation with one person price in the peak red leave season, which is impractical to other onsen hotel in the region. A special thing about the onsen bath here is that the deepest part is 1m, so the onsen water will reach your shoulder level even if you sit upright. This make the onsen bath even more enjoyable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply amazing. What you would expect from a proper Japanese onsen. Traditional..great facilities and service.
The water is great and the baths are just perfect. Steamy and hot, very hot.
The point to note is that towels cannot be rented here, so bring your own if you dont want to buy one.
