浅	浅川ひのきち on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 乳頭温泉郷のなかでも一番奥に位置しておりかなり秘湯感があります。混浴のお湯は、ぬるめのお湯です。露天風呂の浴槽には、落ち葉がいっぱい沈んでおり少々きもち悪かったです。また、女性専用露天風呂の方には、大量の白い湯の華と一緒に緑色の藻のようなものがいっぱい浮いておりこちらは、落ち葉より不潔感がありました。とてもいいお湯なのになんとも残念でした。 It is located in the innermost part of Nyuto Onsenkyo and has a feeling of a secret hot spring. Mixed bathing hot water is lukewarm water. The bathtub of the open-air bath was full of fallen leaves, which made it a little uncomfortable. Also, in the open-air bath exclusively for women, a lot of things like green algae floated along with a large amount of white hot water flowers, which was more filthy than the fallen leaves. It was a shame though it was very good hot water.
が	がまガエル on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ホテルのような清潔さを求める人には向きません。湯の華を垢だ、苔だと評価する方は本当に来ないでください。意味が分かりません。湯の華は白いだけではありません。成分によって色が変わりますし川沿いにあり、森に囲まれているので当然落ち葉や虫は入ります。他人の垢を気にするのなら、個人風呂で我慢してください。秘湯だとわかってて来て低評価をつけるって、うなぎ屋で、高級フレンチが出てこないからと言って低評価つけているのと同じ。それぞれの良さを楽しめない人はそもそも来るべきじゃありません。肝心な評価ですが、秘湯としての楽しみを手軽に味わえるいい温泉です。ただ、秘湯と呼ばれるだけあって、転倒防止の手すりなど気の利いたものはないですので注意が必要ですね。 Not suitable for people who want cleanliness like a hotel. However, since it is called a secret hot spring, there is no such thing as a handrail to prevent it from tipping over, so you need to be careful.
鞍	鞍ゐ武人 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日帰り温泉のみ利用乳頭温泉郷で一番好きな温泉冬は車も入れず道路から徒歩でそこそこかかる。とても雪深いがちょっとしたアトラクションと思えば楽しい。建物の雰囲気が素晴らしく良い。建屋が幾つかあるが全て良い。管理人は呼んでもなかなか出てこないけどそんな適当感も雰囲気を盛り上げてくれる。雪見温泉最高レベル。どのお湯も素晴らしい。秘湯感を味わいたいならここ。ただ一番いい風呂は混浴で、更衣室から出た瞬間フルオープンになる。ステージ階段を降りてくる感じになってるので女性は要注意。 Use only for day trip hot springs My favorite hot spring in Nyuto Onsenkyo In winter, it takes a while on foot from the road without a car. B	Brigitta Ryan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible outdoor onsens for mixed gender. Only one other person there. Walk 20 minutes off the main road (in the snow). The rope closing the road is just for cars (as we were told) so it is safe to walk. Just magic in the snow.

We decided to make a day trip to Magoroku Onsen, a traditional ryokan located off the main road between Ogama Onsen, on the right, and Ganiba Onsen on the left. Magoroku Onsen stands on the banks of Sentatsugawa River. We drove there in the morning at about 10 am. The parking area can accommodate about four cars only. Alternatively, we could have taken the shuttle bus. :p We parked our car and hiked for about 1 km to get to the Onsen. The hike maybe short for some but we had to withstand the wind chill and icy roads in winter. We crossed a narrow bridge and made our way to the main building. We bought a day tripper ticket at ¥510 per adult to use the baths. To enjoy the baths, you may either bring or buy a drink at the reception before seeking the baths. This will allow you to hydrate yourself and stay longer in the baths. To dry ourselves, we brought along our towels. The baths are opposite the main building, and overlook the Sentatsugawa River. There are 3 rotenburo (2 Konyoku and 1 for females only). There are also 4 indoor baths, one Konyoku, one for males, and two for females. The hotspring water is locally referred to as "mountain medicine water" for its numerous health benefits :p Enjoy a dip in the indoor Konyoku before you venture into the rotenburo. The rotenburo nearest to the indoor bath is larger and the waters are warmer and shaded from the sun. If you enjoy the sun and prefer waters that are less hot, go to the smaller Konyoku rotenburo about 5 metres from the larger bath. Because of Magoruku Onsen's obscure location, you may enjoy your bath in quiet with only your partner and nature in attendance. :)

Food and accommodation are great, if any, 2 day 1 night stay may not be enough as snow storm really prevent you having a proper soak, and prepare to walk the 800 m from the bus stop to the place, as shuttle need to be arranged by phone call, and shuttle won't be going in a light snow storm which still can be traversed through by walking
