★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere for a Ramen place, with lots of space, light, and friendly service. But I didn't love the ramen. The shio broth was lighter than most, and the noodles were thinner and less chewy than others. I felt like it might just not be my preferred style of ramen, rather than being bad. If you like more delicate flavors, you may be more of a fan.

Waiting time can be depending on whether you go on weekdays or weekends.

I personaly love Spam Rice ball, so give it a try if you are still hungry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we went because of the very high ratings and accolades, but found it to be surprisingly average. we went on a friday evening when they only serve tsukemen (pictured), so it’s possible that the other menu items are what’s impressing everyone. it wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t anything special. the staff was very nice though.

I normally don’t like a waiting line. However I felt I need Ramen for lunch that day.
It was ridiculous for spent my lunch break for nearly 1 hour so I had to rush though still I am happy and satisfied. ;)

I was asking to myself why I am walking under this burning sun…
Moreover I ordered hot ramen instead of cold one.
This was my first visit here so I wanted to try something basic instead of seasonal menu.
The soy sauce based clear ramen was good enough to reward my walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If it wasn’t for the ticket machine and the sound of people slurping noodles inside, I would think this was a Hawaiian style cafe. I liked the vibes of this shop a lot and the chef-owner was very friendly too. Ramen was solid — well-balanced broth and house-made noodles, cooked al dente, were a match made in heaven, so good.
However, the chashu was shocking bad. It was chewy, dry and flavorless. Honestly I was not expecting chashu served at a hyakumeiten (100 famous ramen shops) caliber shop to be this bad. With everything else so good, it almost seemed like their chashu was a glaring afterthought. What a shame!
Overall this place is pretty solid and definitely worth going if you’re in the area.
