 Since it is on the first basement floor, you can relax without worrying about crowds. The Mont Blanc cake I ate for the first time was delicious ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic little spot in the lower level of the Shijo station (may be a little hard to find!) that serves delicious coffee and a selection of eats at a very affordable price. The service is not fast, but they are very friendly and offer an English language menu as well. I came back here multiple times during my stay in Kyoto! The breakfast sets (before 11am) are a wonderful way to start the day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing particular special about this place that will make you want to go and find it, but if you are in that area of Shijo station and want to sit down and have some coffee or food, it’s not bad. Reasonable prices, especially for the set menu. Just be aware, I don’t believe there is an English menu.
