★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I love this small place which was near to Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto where we stayed. It offers value for money at 680Yen for set of coffee, 2 pieces of bread with melted margarine, scrambled eggs, 2 pork sausages. The bread was toasted perfectly, so Oishī (delicious). We went back twice, due to affordability and delicious, breakfast for 2 days we were in Kyoto. The staff was attentive and obliging, when we told them not to add dairy product the next day. Highly recommended to drop by this quaint coffee place (where even locals also patronize).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I arrived through the back into a warm ambience. We seated ourselves, and the friendly staff quickly took our orders in English. The food was delicious: thick, thick toast; perfectly cooked eggs; and savory sausage. Satisfies, we paid a fair price and embarked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best breakfast places around. Vintage and really good coffee and tea. Had breakfast here for 3 mornings. Established in 1976 and everything is still so rustic and good! Must try!!
