森	森昭二 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名古屋城築城当時のものといわれている門です。国の重要文化財に指定されています。天守や本丸御殿を初め多くの建物が戦災で焼失してしまった名古屋城ですが、表一之門までも焼失してしまったのに表二之門が焼失を免れたというのはまさに奇跡ではないでしょうか。とても貴重ですね。名古屋城叢書９『名古屋城の庭園』に江戸時代中期に名古屋城下で石屋を営む石屋栄治郎によって城の正面を権威づけるために「虎石」が寄付されたというエピソードが紹介されていました。恐らく写真の石が「虎石」だろうと思いますが、気になる方は名古屋城を訪れた際に探してみて下さい。それにしても最近の表二之門は殊に痛みが激しいように見受けられます。木造による天守の再建などよりも、こちらの修復の方が先ではないでしょうか。 ? 2	2666 10993 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名古屋城表二之門は、名古屋城本丸東南に位置する東南隅櫓(辰巳櫓)の西隣に隣接する門です。1612年(慶長17年)頃に建築されました。江戸時代には「南二之門」と呼ばれ、櫓門である一之門と共に本丸の正面出入口にあたる大手枡形を守っていました。表二之門は「高麗門」と呼ばれる形式です。門扉の上に小型の屋根を載せ、二本の控柱にも小屋根を載せて門後方につけており、上から見るとコの字形をしています。屋根が小さいため斜め上方から視界を防げず、人の出入りがわかりやすいという利点があります。開いた扉は控柱のところで止まり、小屋根の下に納まるため雨天でも濡れることがありません。本丸東二之門、二之丸大手二之門も同じ形式の門です。表二之門は国指定重要文化財です。 Nagoya Castle Omotesando Ninomon is a gate adjacent to the west side of the southeast corner turret (Tatsumi turret) located in the southeast of Nagoya Castle Honmaru.
