This historical castle has been built in the 16th century and it's very famous for the historical value and the architecture. The surrounding area of the castle is like a park/garden and also there are many restuarants in the area. It will take around 1.5 hrs to see around.

Unfortunately, we are not able to go inside since it is under renovation but I am still satisfied with I'd see and experience ✨ This was huuuuuuuge castle ❤️ I also recommend the Kishimen Shop inside the castle, it was very delicious ?❤️

K	Kay Ong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautifully kept castle with a lot of exhibits throughout the place, much to read and a lot to take in. There is just so much history at the place. The museum aspect is nice, so many pieces to look at and read about. There will be a lot of walking through the grounds and you may see some deer running around in certain areas if you pay attention. Either way, this is a definite stop in Nagoya and well worth it for history buffs who enjoy learning about Japanese history.

We weren’t able to walk through the actual castle (it is currently undergoing some construction) but we did get to walk through the palace! The staff on duty were incredibly friendly and kind. The grounds around the castle are gorgeous as well. Bring your stamp book as there is a place to stamp it right next to the entrance :) there’s an ice cream shop as well with DELICIOUS soft serve!

The walls and buildings structure preservations are really worth visiting it. There are few small parks here and there. To spend time with family and to see the old life,it is a great place.

During our visit there were a number of food vendors set up with various treats just outside the “main gate” (inside the laid area of the castle grounds). The castle itself is closed (March 2022) and it appears to be undergoing some form of internal renovation. It was a shame to visit and not know that entrance to the castle itself would be denied. Worth visiting for the low price and nice pictures.
