★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 通常の三層天守を見慣れてしまうとその巨大さに圧倒されます。本丸から眺めると平板ですが、堀を隔てた西側から見るとその迫りくる高さと大きさの迫力は凄まじいものがありました。空襲で焼失したオリジナル天守が残念でなりませんが、木造の再建天守により400年前の築城当時の名古屋城が現代に蘇るのは今から楽しみです！
 If you get used to the usual three-layer castle tower, you will be overwhelmed by its huge size. When viewed from the main enclosure, it is a flat plate, but when viewed from the west side across the moat, its approaching height and size were tremendous. It's a pity that the original castle tower was destroyed by air raids, but I'm looking forward to seeing Nagoya Castle, which was built 400 years ago, revived in the present age by the wooden reconstruction tower!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ とても大きなお城で、近くで見ると圧倒されます。金のシャチホコがピカピカしてます。今は中には入れませんでしたが、行って良かったです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 現在の名古屋城天守閣は、1959年(昭和34年)に鉄骨鉄筋コンクリート造りで再建されたものです。元々あった天守は、1945年(昭和20年)に太平洋戦争で焼失。焼失する前は国宝に指定されていました。戦争で失われたのは本当に残念です。今この天守を木造で再建する計画があります。本丸御殿のように再建出来ると良いですね。
The current Nagoya Castle castle tower was reconstructed in 1959 (Showa 34) with a steel-framed reinforced concrete structure. The original castle tower was destroyed by fire in the Pacific War in 1945 (Showa 20). Before it was burnt down, it was designated as a national treasure. I'm really sorry that I lost it in the war. There are plans to rebuild this castle tower with a wooden structure. It would be nice if it could be rebuilt like the Honmaru Palace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 徳川御三家のお城です。知名度と比べると遺構については堀を含めて総面積はそれほどに広くはありませんし、復元天守ではありますが、天守の大きさに圧倒されます。見て歩くにつれ、とにかく加藤清正の出現率が圧倒的で、名古屋の皆さんからの熱い支持を感じられます。天守閣は耐震強度不足のため現在入る事は出来ません。（2021年10月時点）
敷地内には那古野城跡もあり、こちらの方が気になる方もいそうです。
It is a castle of the Tokugawa Gosanke family. Compared to the name recognition, the total area of the remains including the moat is not so large, and although it is a restored castle tower, it is overwhelmed by the size of the castle tower. As I walked around, the appearance rate of Kiyomasa Kato was overwhelming, and I can feel the enthusiastic support from everyone in Nagoya. The castle tower cannot be entered at present due to insufficient seismic strength. (As of October 2021)
There is also the ruins of Nakono Castle on the premises, and it seems that some people may be interested in this.
