★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 埋門の跡ですが、二之丸に位置するこの門は城に万一の非常事態が起きた時に、藩主はこの門より出て空堀に降り御深井大堀を船で渡り、鶉口（うずらぐち）から脱出することが極秘のルートに定められていました。
また二之丸御殿に火災があった場合もこの門から出て御深井の庭の茶席ヘ避難することが定められていたそうです。つまりこの場所は二之丸庭園の最も重要な場所であり、極秘の場所だったようです。そういう訳で是非ともこの門も復元してほしいと思います。
